The commercial arm of the business delivers warehouses, offices and bespoke client fit outs for blue chip customers in Cambridge, East Midlands and beyond. Michael Jackson
Project Director – Brightfield Group
Mike has worked for Brightfield as Project Director for over 10 years. Mike has delivered numerous projects around Peterborough, Cambridge and Corby including 61 residential apartments in Peterborough, new headquarters and a laboratory in Cambridge as well as the complete redevelopment of Aston Business Park, Peterborough.
Current residential assignments include 25 units in Peterborough, due for completion mid 2018 and 36 units in Stafford. With an eye for detail, Mike’s skills include contractor management, price negotiation and ensuring customer satisfaction.
James Edwards
Business Development Director – Brightfield Group
With 20 years experience in property, spanning buy to let, investment and development, James has played a key role in evaluating sites and securing new opportunities for development.
As a graduate, qualified in Risk Management, Audit and Certified in SMSTS, James business experience has been gained in SMEs, PLC and the public sector. Responsible for the development and delivery of over 500 residential apartments throughout the UK, James has recently completed 36 city centre apartments in Peterborough. Ongoing assignments include 168 residential apartments in Southend and liaising with investors and stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of the business.
Gavin Ritchie
Project Director – Brightfield Group
Gavin is an experienced project manager and has worked with the company on large scale residential projects and commercial projects since 2012. Qualified to NVQ level 6 Gavin is certified in SMSTS and deals with the company’s tradesmen, contractors and labour to get the job done.
With a ‘hands on’, ‘can do’ attitude, Gavin’s major projects include delivery of the Marlor Tooling building (precision engineering facility) at Aston Business Park, Peterborough, day to day management of residential construction sites in Southend, completion of Bayard Plaza in Peterborough and delivery of multiple tenant fit outs at Brightfield Business Hub in Orton Southgate.
Gavin is a fixer, problem solver and is a valued member of the team.
Gina Wrench
Managing Director – Brightfield Group
Gina as an American girl started her career in Cable Television for over 14 years. Her extensive responsibilities included overseeing / managing a good number of staff in property and facilities management, security, purchasing, warehousing and charity event organising within her Cable Television career. Gina also has had much experience in the entertainment, retail and private sector over the past 20 years. She has a ‘CAN DO’ attitude about all things and thrives on a busy and healthy working environment.
Chris Brand
Operations Director – Brightfield Group
Chris Brand brings over 25 years of hospitality experience to Brightfield Group’s Hotel and Accommodation Business. As a highly accomplished Operations Director with a proven track record of delivering financial performance Chris has managed properties across various national markets through delivering high standards of customer service and effective team leadership. At Brightfield, Chris is responsible for over 100 suites and 200+ rooms.
Chris’ career highlights include leading the Team GB Accommodation site for the London 2012 Olympics and consistently improving customer satisfaction scores and revenue metrics in his roles. Chris is known for his ability to stabilise businesses, drive performance, and successfully manage multi site operations. At Brightfield, Chris leverages his extensive operational expertise and strategic vision to help corporate clients address their accommodation needs. Chris’ passion for developing high-performing teams and creating memorable guest experiences aligns perfectly with our commitment to our company excellence in the hospitality sector.
Hannah Jackson
Operations Director – Brightfield Group
Hannah has been with Brightfield since 2014 and deals with the day to day running of the office with her Finance and Admin colleagues.
